This policy explains how Thrilling Reads, operated by author and podcast host Alan Petersen, handles information when you visit thrillingreads.com, join the VIP Reader Group, or follow links to third-party services.

Information you provide

When you request the free book or join the VIP Reader Group, you provide your email address. That information is used to confirm your subscription, deliver the requested book, and send newsletters and book-related updates.

When you use the contact form, you may provide your name, email address, subject, and message. That information is used only to review and respond to your correspondence.

Email and book delivery services

Email subscriptions are processed through AWeber. AWeber may process subscriber information and email interaction data on Alan’s behalf. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

After confirming a subscription, readers may be directed to BookFunnel to receive or read the free book. Information submitted to or collected by BookFunnel is handled according to its own privacy policy.

Interview scheduling

The interview booking page uses an embedded scheduling service provided by TidyCal. If you schedule an interview, TidyCal may process the contact, scheduling, time-zone, and questionnaire information you provide according to its own privacy practices.

Information collected automatically
