Hi, I’m Alan Petersen. I write psychological thrillers, domestic suspense, crime novels, and mysteries about ordinary people caught in dangerous situations—and the secrets that refuse to stay buried.
I’m also the creator and host of Meet the Thriller Author. Since launching the podcast in 2015, I’ve interviewed hundreds of bestselling, award-winning, and emerging authors, including Dean Koontz, Lee Child, Walter Mosley, and Freida McFadden.
I was born in Costa Rica, raised in Venezuela, and now live in San Francisco. Whether I’m writing a thriller, talking with another author, or reviewing my latest read, I’m always looking for the next story that keeps me turning pages.
